First Release
Depth Brackets (required) Goal Breakdown by pipe runs for analysis (quantities )
Square pipe, ellipsoidal pipe, multiple pipe, varying pipe thickness. (deficiencies)
Strata in depth brackets
Select Backfill calculation (deficiency)
Quantities within Underground (deficiency)
LandXML export of trench bottom (Goal)
Trench Spec to Template in GW application
Notes
Automatically increment label each pipe segment like 8” SD -1 , -2, -3 etc. Since pipe runs are typically straight between structures this gives us an easy way to break down the volumes by pipe run. Likewise they can subtotal together or be edited to be the same if multiple runs should be combined.
We need an Underground volumes report. Imagine something like the volumes report broken down by the individual quantities per run. It should be in the Underground program. I’ll mock one up for reference.
We need to open up strata layers to changing colors and in fact should alternate the colors automatically. The current view with them all red in profile makes it difficult to discern between layers.
On the depth bracket report we should list the pipe run like this:
8” SD phase class avg depth Measure xxx.x xx.x
Clay (color as legend) x.x xx.x xxx.x
Sandstone xx.x xxx.
We can subtotal it the same way
Changing out the round/square pipe looks pretty straightforward in the dialog.
Add an Apply Template checkbox with a default surface (storm, water, etc) to create/add to a Surface in Gradework.
Depth Brackets
The depth brackets function is complete compared to previous versions but has additional breakdown
Here's a typical report:
Should we default label pipes, structures and fittings? For example if I enter in pipe label the line between each point 8“ SD -1, -2, -3 and break those out in reports. The user could customize the label
We need a quantity report in the Underground program itself. If pipe runs were labeled then breaking out and subtotaling those values also becomes easier as well as showing rock quantities.
Wishlist: Choose colors for strata. All of them being red doesn't help distinguish them. Some sort of legend would help too
